Squid Socket®

Based on the west coast opal squid, this hard-body soft-tail lure combines realistic visuals with enticing action to ensure your favorite predator species WILL BITE. Easily change the eyes, tail or hook for a fully customizable experience. Optionally add your favorite bait or scent to the internal bait pocket to take this lure to another level. Fish this lure like a cut plug with an optional dummy flasher configuration for best results. Multiple patterns with *Glow and  *UV effects are available. All lures come with rigging installed.

Design:

• The Squid Socket® was designed to give anglers a true to size and shape opal squid pattern with tantalizing action. The hard body with integrated wings generate the lures wide erratic wobble while the soft tail gives smooth fluid life like motion.
• The tail can be easily swapped out with virtually any 2.5" standard hoochie on the market giving you unparalleled customization.
• The eyes look 3D because they actually ARE. We use a 6mm spherical bead that is hand pressed into the eye socket. Want a different eye color? Just remove the eyes using the hook as a pry bar and easily hand press in your new eyes.
• Because this lure generates its own action a flasher is not required, but if you do use a flasher we recommend rigging it in a dummy flasher configuration.
• No paint or metal in the lure itself means you wont have to replace this lure due to chipping/scratches and rust.
• The leader line passes thru a channel in the body of the lure, so when you hook up, the fish can't use the lure as leverage to shake off. 
• The internal bait cavity allows you to add scented gel or bait chunks to your liking.
• This lure will slowly float at rest, but then slowly sink when trolling at depth once the internal cavity fills.
